Come behind the scenes of our conference photography in Canberra

While you might get smashed with video content by us, we've also been known to pick up a camera and take some snaps....or a few hundred!

We wanted to take you behind the scenes of what it's like to capture a multi day conference at one of Canberra's best conference venues - Hotel Realm. ANZSPM (Australian and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine) were holding their annual conference in Canberra and need to capture a whole wide range of unique and quality imagery that could not only be used to showcase the conference and promote future ones, but also to be used in their end of year report. So we hopped on board!

First things first, we had to make sure that we received the schedule ahead of time so we could plan which key events would be happening so we could get the best coverage possible.

Upon arriving at hotel realm bright and early on the first day, we headed straight up to the conference area and introduced ourselves very quickly to the coffee cart. Once the necessities were taken care of, we got straight into it. One of the most important things that we wanted to capture apart from the general atmosphere of the conference was a solid collection of images that showcased the different branding elements on display around the hotel realm that could be utilised across the website and programs.

From there it was a mixture of making sure we got the right shots without disrupting any of the keynote speaking events, which involved having a variety of lens choices for our cameras and focusing on capturing a wealth of different content which we would then deliver in batches over the course of the conference.
